Who wouldn’t like to listen to outstanding educators and learn from their experiences? This is what Nearpod Sessions are for! As a group of entrepreneurs dedicated to helping educators incorporate mobile devices in the classroom, our priority is delivering useful training and resources to our growing community of users. So this summer we will be offering free WebiNears that bring together education professionals from across the world to share their experiences on the use of mobile technology in education. In these first series, discussion will gravitate around the use of mobile technology in the classroom and how a routine of using these devices may impact significantly on teaching and learning. The program features the following topics: Trends, Tactics, and Tools for 1:1 iPad Programs Oriented to teachers and school technology instructors, this session will discuss some trends and present some guidelines for implementing 1 to 1 learning programs. Lesson Plans & Content Creation in the M-learning Era In this session, we’ll dive deeper into the pedagogy used with technology in the classroom. How is the routine use of technology by teachers and students changing teaching and learning? And how do we design lectures to get the most out of the available resources? Great Minds Don’t Think Alike: Tips and Tools for Differentiated Instruction Using iPads Mobile technologies have opened a whole new dimension for differentiated learning. In this session, we’ll share some practical classroom strategies and tools for using iPads that may help you meet the diverse learning needs of your students. Mobile Technologies & Classroom Learning: Some Stories of Technology Integration Using Nearpod Join us for a conversation with some renowned educators as they describe their experiences on launching, managing, and developing technology-integration programs in their classrooms using Nearpod. How will Nearpod Sessions work? Nearpod Sessions will have keynote speakers who will use a Nearpod presentation during the session, so in order to participate you will need an iPad, iPhone or iPod touch with the Nearpod Student app installed and a working Internet connection. We’ll send you the PIN when the Nearpod Session date is near.
