ISTE is the premier membership association for educators and education leaders engaged in advancing excellence in learning and teaching through innovative and effective uses of technology.

Nearpod’s booth will be #11164. There, educators will have the opportunity to interact with colleagues, learn more about this all-in-one solution that seeks to enhance classrooms and lessons, and be able to try Nearpod’s amazing new features and content.

With Nearpod Homework, teachers can share their NPPs with their students via email, and students can review them at their own pace by simply swiping through the slides.

Once at home – or even on the go – students can launch the presentation from their own devices and interact with it by reviewing videos, slideshows, and webpages. Students can also submit responses to teacher-made Q&As, Quizzes or Open-Ended questions. Teachers can later run the corresponding report to access all homework data and assess each student’s performance.

¬ Launch the Nearpod app from your iPad and sign in.

¬ From the My Library page, tap on the Launch button below the presentation you wish to use.

¬ Share the PIN with your students (remember, it’s located at the top left corner of the screen)

¬ Your students should go to  www.nearpod.com/web on their Macs or PCs and enter the PIN to join the NPP from their browser windows.

¬ The NPP will show up on the students’ computers/laptops with all the Nearpod features!

Remember, you have to be a Nearpod Gold or School Edition user to access this feature on a regular basis but if you are a Silver user, you can test it out through a FREE trial and if you like it, you can upgrade your account later.

We also launched Nearpod Authors, a crowd sourcing initiative where teachers create presentations following some guidelines and, once approved, they are able to share their great lessons with us and with the entire Nearpod community.
